How to: Doffs for Fleet Projects, Dilithium, and Personal use.... oh mai!!

Hello Everypony, today we wanted to discuss one of the easiest ways to get Fleet Credits while also helping the fleet reach its stated goals as determined by the vote.  The way I'm discussing isn't fleet marks, but rather Duty Officers.

That's right, the Doff!  Those little guys are very important for you while travelling in space, but also important for our projects because so many of them are needed!  I know what you may be thinking, "I just don't have that many doffs myself, let alone extras to give to the fleet!"  Well, never fear, you senior staff is here!  We'll show you the best ways to get doffs, not only to give for fleet projects to earn that much needed Fleet Credits, but also for you to keep in order to sell on the Exchange for profit or even to use in assignments for earning Dilithium!  WOW!

So, let's start with a quick primer on how to gets lots of Doffs!

1) SFA/Klingon Academy/Fleet Starbase Personnel officers:  They can give you 3 Doffs per career focus and civilians every few days!  If you are a Romulan you have the added bonus of repeating this at the Republic Command Centre on New Romulus for double the doffs!

2) Duty Officer Assignments that award other Duty Officers (Doffceptions):

The Cardassian Sector blocks have the highest concentration of easily attainable doff assignments that award Doffs, with Missions like the Gul Tain chain, Officer Exchange Missions, and Fugitive Network strikes there are a lot of them.

One of the most certain sources of doffs are the Cluster Colonization Chains that upon completion has a repeatable "Support Colonization/Expansion" mission that awards Refugees (Fed) / Prisoners (KDF) every time, and a bound Purple Doff on criticals.  Which leads me the next way to get doffs...

3) Breaking Purple Doffs into Common Doffs:  The personnel officer at SFA/Klingon Academy/Fleet Starbase/New Romulus Command can take a purple doff and breat that into 3 unbound blue doffs, those blues into 3 unbound greens, and finally those greens into 3 unbound commons.  So, what started as 1 purple doff (bound to you if it came from a Cluster Chain repeatable) into 27 common unbound doffs for use in projects or resale or other assignments.

4) Special Items can open up exclusive Doff Assignments with doffs as rewards - often very rare doffs.  These are primarily items that come from lock boxes.

5) Fleet Starbase Duty Officer Commissioner can sell you a doff for Fleet Credits.  A random common duty officer box that gives one random common doff is 500 fleet credits.  A focus specific one (Tac/Sec, Eng/Ops, Sci/Med) costs 750.  NOTE: When used for a Starbase project, it awards back 300 fleet credits, so this is best done IF you already have a lot of fleet credits and want to help t the fleet progress its goals!

6) Finally, when all else fails, you can use the Exchange, BUT if you are doing everything else, you likely won't be needing this and you can turn around and sell those extra doffs that you can’t donate on the Exchange!
