So, Season 6 in STO is all about the starbases, see link here.

Cautious looking cool so far, but I am wondering if the fleet is going to be going for one, and will the KDF side of things be going for one as well? I know I would like to help make a home in space for both sides.

The official reply to whether or not the Guardians of Equestria will build a starbase is a resounding yes.

For the time being, we will be saving every EC that we can in the fleet bank as a precaution for possible EC expenses.

From the looks of it, all resources will be used, EC, Dil, samples, commodities, etc. So we might have to organize people into "Farmers", "Doff'ers", etc. I'm somewhat hoping that GPL will be used as well, because there is nothing else to really use that on...

I agree. I have 25k spare GPL and its been collecting dust since I got them.

A place to call home and a repeating mission that focuses on protecting and rescuing lives. Now I just need a more in-depth diplomatic model and an exploration mode that doesn't have me scanning the same generic anomaly all day and I wouldn't ever leave.
