What are your favourite episodes from each season?

I think I'd have to go: Boast Busters from season 1
and Lesson Zero from season 2

Not surprisingly Twilight episodes. LOL
T'will be interesting to see if they get Trixie into season 3. I have a firm belief that she'll be a part of the season premiere. And the more crazy ponies (Twilight) the better. XD

So hard to pick a favorite; they are all so good. But I do really like from Season 1 "A dog and pony show" because while Rarity is not BEST pony (everypony knows that is Twilight Sparkle), she is a VERY close second, and having an episode dedicated to her and showing her character as something more then a haughty debutante, but that she does have considerable wealth of inner strength and self-reliance, and also quite intelligent. I really enjoyed this episode

Season 2: I would have to say "Luna Eclipsed" because again; she is another pony in dire need of more screen time and to show us who she really is (Quite cheezed she was basically a comedic afterthought in the season final part, and with about a total of 5 seconds of screentime between both episodes); and it was just a thoroughly enjoyable episode. Rainbow Dash as a Shadowbolt scaring ponies was great; first (only?) appearance of Lunas Royal Guards (and they look totally badass!) and so many awesome Luna quotes. The entire episode was non-stop fun from start to finish.

*EDITE* and I think also Trixie will be making a comback in Season 3. In the BronyCon panel with Faust this last weekend, she was actually asked this question "Will Trixie be back" and she would not confirm or deny it. Which makes me think that there is some thought of having her in a future episode.

Season one: Party of One. Because Pinkie Pie is best pony.

Season two: Hearts and Hooves day. Because the CMC are best marshmallow (especially Sweetie Belle) tiny ponies. And Lesson Zero.

my favorite episode from the first season is the 2 part episode involving discord. my favorite eppisode of season 2 is the 2 part wedding episode

Uhm...Discord was the 2 part season 2 opener.

Can't argue with your choices though, those 2 parters are awesome.

Yeah, Canterlot Wedding is definitely on my list, too.
As for season 1 ...I'd have to say Dragonshy.
