World of Tanks

We were discussing this game in chat yesterday and I thought I would make a thread about it. This game has pony mods galore and I thought we could try it out. So, what do you guys think? Here is an example of a login screen mod.

I played this during the beta. It was pretty fun except for the people who couldn't understand that the weakest part of a tank is its rear. Even with those people it was fun. I had to uninstall it though to make room for games I got on Steam though. Been thinking of reinstalling it for some time now.

I played for a few weeks prior to joining the Fleet and it was fun for a while, especially with the pony mods. Got kinda old after a bit but that might have been due to the fact that I was playing alone. I'd be willing to give it another shot at some point in the future.

I tried it a while back, couldn't kill anything got very confused and stopped

While the idea of a tank simulator appeals to me greatly, I've looked at it and it seems to be another example of a F2P, P2W game. I'm really not for those. If I'm wrong please let me know, people who've had a different experience might be able to convince me I should give it a shot.

The Guardians of Equestria has officially expanded into World of Tanks.

As far as I understand it, there are two ways to join:
1) Submit and application via the WoT website, or
2) Tell me your WoT gamer name, and I will send an invite.

To accept an invite, you will need to log on the WoT website, and go to your profile.

If we get enough players, we can battle with a full team of 15 players against other guilds. I would imagine that we would die glorious deaths in the beginning, but with practice, and more players with higher tier tanks, we could become a serious pony fighting force.

Also, we have recruited our first non-STO player! This is an exciting bit of news, as we are finally reaching out beyond the cradle of STO!

On to other games! For love, for Pony, for EQUESTRIA!!

Oh and can someone tell me how to get the crew pictures back. They changed back to the originals when they updated the game.

Now I really have to figure out why WoT will not work on my computer.

But how lookes the Tanks in your mod?

1) I don't have a mod and I don't usually use them anyway.

2) My user name is as I suspected, Ariyous. Like I said, I played during the beta but stopped and ironically I stopped after my 50th battle XD

Also, it seems I was able to reach tier 2 but I have hardly anything of that tier. Just a light tank with almost all of the parts researched.

Expect a lot of bickering in this tank.

i am on the American server being all crazy as the leader of OOD, Order of Discord.
thats right i am leader of the Clan dedicated to Discord anyway if the clan is on the American server i would love to battle you, i play about each day also here is some pictures of my stuff
As you can see i got most French tank all elite status, its practically the only thing i drive, makes people ask if i am french when they see it.

this is my main tank a tier 8 French TD's


The ELC AMX my most used tank ever, when i First got this thing i got shocked, because the French from tier 2-4 are slow and have guns that cant even pen a light, suddenly i get this, a tank going up to 70 in speed and whit a so powerfull gun it can even pen a tier 10, and i know cause i penned a maus whit it xD.


Heres my stats and proof that i lead the Order of Discord Clan i ques, if ya wonder how i got to a overall score of 47% its because that i started whit playing French tanks, and French are the least sugested, hardest ever to gain new tanks on and most stupid route ever, even worse was the fact that i chose the TD as my main tank, its a reason The French tanks are almost never found in combat and thats cause they are ridiculous hard to use and even worse to get any progress whit, try driving a tier 6 td whit a tier 3 gun that cant be changed before you get the tracks to the tank.

Anyway hope to see some of you out there, be on a look out for any OOD members if your on the American server

Don't feel bad... it looks like this was something Light Shine started over a year ago. As for its current status, I'm not sure who all that is active in STO today that is also active in WoT. Maybe one of them can telll how things are going with that. At this point any affiliation would be considered unofficial and in name only as we have no common management structure. As of our current fleet administration, it is our general opinion that until the STO fleets are in a position of relative strength with minimum maintenance required to manage them, we will not officially colonize other games. The exception to this would bbe if we had a sizable portion of our active members establish a guild/clan in a game that demonstrates persistant interest and activity, then if the so desired they could petition for admission into the UESF as a new branch following a Charter amendment to add that branch structure into the guild.

So, as far as I know, in WoT it appears to be the domain of the Order of Discord (kind of an ironic name, don't you think?) and may it live and be well! Hope this clears things up.

Yea last night i found the GOE clan and the only one i found of the members that i clicked on that had more than 1000 battle was the commander of it, so it seems to be kinda quiet over there, also about the clan name Order Of Discord if you say to Discord that it makes no sense he will just laugh because of the fact that its kinda the idea of it, plus if you put the letters together it forms OOD how odd aint that :)plus the name is something the Fandom made, theres one for the Crystal empire one for Luna, one for Celestia and even a evil Crystal empire for Zombra altough the crystal empire clans have yet to be made so, then we got my clan Order Of Discord
