STO Announcements

I didn't see a thread devoted to spreading the word about upcoming changes, events, and other information that might pass folks by without their noticing. I am notoriously bad about not keeping in the loop about news regarding STO until it pops up on the launch window.

So, on with the first thing that caught my eye. Anypony else really excited to see how this is going to turn out?

For PvE, I'm having some very cool imaginings going on right now. Don't know how effective it would be in STFs. I have a KDF carrier, but I've never been brave enough to take it into STF territory, so I'm interested to hear your opinions. And I love how different it looks from the rest of the Federation lineup. If it gets even just decent reviews, they have a buyer in me already just based on appearance and novelty alone.

Indeed. As much as I love that classic Connie look of the TMP-era ships...wow. The more I look at the screenshots the more in love I feel. Those curves and that soft glow are just gorgeous. Compared to most of the other Fed ships, this thing is a piece of art.

I will admit it does look pretty, but it's not very... Star Trekkie. Kinda disappointed with that, but I still look forward to using it...

A portion of me wants it for M'Russta... But... 2000cp? Maybe if it was 1600cp. As is, there isn't really any reason to get it over the Nebula.

It's new and it's the only fed carrier so far. why would it not be expensive?
