It's been on the "Are we going to get this yet Cryptic" arena for over two years now... Not to burst anyone's bubble :\

It's a neat, shark like design, but considering the Odyssey and Bortasqu' are the current flagships, I doubt this would come to fruition. Though it is odd that they [Oddy + Bortasqu] got their own Featured Article now.. after they've been out for quite some time. So it's kinda iffy I guess.

Regardless, it's an impressive design and would be a welcome addition

It's less likely that this is a new flagship and more likely a costume the Oddyssey - the proportions look like it would be an Oddyssey costume option.

I did get an e-mail form Cryptic recently; and it did link to this Dev Blog about a new FED class ship being developed.

Lol - mystery solved then! Sovereign Assault Cruiser retrofit is cool, but definitely not a new flagship. The Oddy keeps its title for a a little bit longer
